Where is the link to request books?

Answer

There are two places to get books for class: the bookstore and the library.

Are you looking for library books to borrow for free, or bookstore books to purchase for a price?

The library has print books and e-books you can use for free, but we don't always have the books you need for class.

To find books and e-books through the library, use Primo library search.  Sign in.

Look up your book title and maybe put in the author's last name, spelled correctly.

Click books or e-books on the left under "material type" to narrow it down.

1. If the book is "available online," you're in luck and you can read it for free, right away.

2. If it's in the "general collection," click the title and then "Request Regent's Copy" or a pdf of just one chapter.

3. If it says "get it for me from other libraries," click the title and then the blue box. Fill out the form and "send."

To use the bookstore (where you can use your vouchers and financial aid to purchase books), go here.

I hope that helps!

Librarians can also help you if you're not finding a specific book in the Primo search. Just let us know title and author.  You can use the Ask a Librarian page or librarians@regent.edu.
