Can I use Google or Google Scholar?
Is it okay to use Google or Google Scholar when I'm searching for sources for my assignments?

You can find background information or basic terminology on your topic through Google, as well as press articles, think tanks, open access sources, and government sources. Remember to use discernment: many websites are biased, seek to promote something, or lack credibility.
Google Scholar will include many of the results that you would get in Primo (our discovery platform) but they will be ranked differently. If you connect it to our library in the settings, it will show you a Regent access link to any result we have in our collections.
