There are two places to get books for class: the bookstore and the library.

Are you looking for library books to borrow for free, or bookstore books to purchase & keep?

The library has print books and e-books you can use for free, but we don't always have the books you need for class.

To find books and e-books through the library, use Primo library search Sign in there.

Look up your book title and the author's last name, spelled correctly.

Click Filters for "books" or "e-books" on the left under "material type" if you need to narrow it down.

1. If the book is "available online," you're in luck and you can read the e-book for free, right away.

2. If it's "available" in the "general collection" or another library collection, it's a physical book. Just click the title and then "Request Regent's Copy" OR "Request PDF" (of one chapter). The book can be mailed or held for you.

3. If it says "get it for me from other libraries," click the title and then the blue box that says "get physical copy" or "get digital chapter." Fill out the form and "send."

To use the bookstore (where you can use your vouchers and financial aid to purchase books), go here.

I hope that helps!

Librarians can also help you if you're not finding a specific book in the Primo search. Just let us know title and author.  You can use the Ask a Librarian page or librarians@regent.edu.
