Q. Popular press sources - author guidelines
The key to this assignment is twofold: (1) to discern popular press from scholarly sources and (2) to uncover the author guidelines for submission to a popular press publisher. The attached document discusses "purpose & audience"; it includes links that explain the audience differences. Articles from journals that target an academic audience (scholarly including peer-reviewed sources) may or may not include audiences that target those in the profession or trade. The "popular press" is yet another category.
Bloomberg Businessweek is an example of "popular press"
The popular source you choose reflects the audience you want to target. Here is a link to popular press outlets, choose one that meets your needs. Visit the website, find author guidelines.
