My book/dvd/etc. has been recalled--what does that mean?

Any item may be recalled by the Library after a minimum of three (3) weeks. Recalled items must be returned to the Resource Desk within five (5) days of receiving the recall notice. An item may be recalled immediately if it is needed for Course Reserves.
InterLibrary Loan (ILL) materials are sometimes recalled by the lending library. In such a case the ILL staff will notify the user of the new due date by which the material must be returned to Resource Desk.
