Q. Philippians 2:12
For a paper, I am to give the theological meaning of Philippians 2:12 throughout Church history. (An excellent review will includethe early church, medieval church, Reformation-era churches, and modern churches.)
Where would I find this type of historical information?

It’s tough to find a single source that informs how this passage is construed over time. Typically the nature of an exercise like this requires you seek out different sources and examine various translations over time.
That said, try these links to online sources in the library catalog
Here's a two-step search you can try yourself: (1) find the name of a church father who gave a sermon on Philippians (2) Search Summon using the church father name AND Philippians, e.g. Augustine AND Philippians
Let me step you through:
(a) Go to databases (green tab library home page) scroll until you find classic sermon index
(b) Type Philippians in the section called "Book" in the SCRIPTURE box
(c) Uncheck all the time periods on the right side, then check one time period at a time
(d) Collect the Church father names to use in subsequent search
(e) Go to Summon (search box on library home page) and type (Church father name you collected from a specific time period AND Philippians)
p.s You don't need to narrow to 2:12
Here is a guide to Divinity sources.
